DECENT heading to BlockShow Europe 2017

On April 6th, DECENT’s next stop will be at the Alte Kongresshalle, in Munich, Germany, where an internationally well-remarked BlockShow Europe 2017 is held.

One-day event will focus on emerging blockchain industry, with the presence of audience made of financial institution representatives, corporations, blockchain entrepreneurs, investors and people eager to witness the future of decentralized solutions.

One of the reasons for this kind of guestlist lies in the theme – or rather a motto – ‘disrupting the disruptors,’ or how to avoid the model of middlemen and its presence in financial and data transactions. Companies would rather fund innovations that would help them streamline the whole process and go around intermediaries.

The conference consists of four parts. ‘Blockchain Solutions’ will showcase immutable and distributed ledger technology and present benefits of it. During panel discussion, experts will address various topics from the industry, while ‘Workshops’ will concentrate on understanding the technology from practical viewpoint.

‘Startup Competition’ will present 10 small startup companies trying to pitch their ideas to the audience, hoping large investors will notice them and help them bring their vision to realization.

Organized by The CoinTelegraph Events, Nexussquared and Blockpay, many prominent speakers will take the stage and share their knowledge on blockchain. Adam Stradling, co-founder of Bitcoin.com, Berd Lapp from Ethereum Foundation and Matej Michalko, co-founder and CEO of DECENT will examine, how can the business community implement this innovation in its architecture. The portfolio of attendees will also include DECENT’s partner, Blockchain R&D Hub.

“We have lot of work ahead of us, but I’m positive we’re going to make it,” self-confidently said Matej Michalko, who regarded the event as “benchmark conference and an opportunity for enthusiastic developers to get noticed by big players.” He hopes this edition of BlockShow Europe will break new grounds and infuse the blockchain debate with mainstream appeal.
