This Week at DECENT

August 13, 2018

Hello, everyone.

If you are wondering what’s going on at DECENT, this is the blog for you. We’ve got new faces, both among our advisors and in our offices and info about DCore workshops and an upcoming Q&A session.

BCEX Exchange Heating Up in Shanghai
Our China GM, Xiaomin Wang, represented DECENT at Shanghai’s BCEX Exchange meet-up aimed at developing the blockchain ecosystem in Shanghai. Participants got to engage with her and learn more about DECENT’s development, specifically focused on the launch of ALAX later this fall.

New Advisor Announcement
This week, we want to warmly welcome Mr. Zhang Yi Hang. Mr. Zhang is a Director at the Chinese Academy of Science – in the Internet of Things Information Technology and Application Laboratory of the Computer Network Information Center in Guangzhou, China. We understand the value and importance of having educated, insightful advisors be a part of our growth. You can find the full details here.

New Faces in Bratislava
Our team in the Bratislava office in Slovakia is constantly growing in size but also in quality. Starting this week, we have a new Project Manager, Jana Galisová, coming in with rich experience working in fields such as 3D animation, online marketing, and even VR & AR. Our second new find is Stanislav Haladej, who has come to convey his artistic talent and fill the shoes of Senior UX/UI Designer. Very glad to have you both on the DECENT board with us!

A Return of Workshops
Following the success of our first ever blockchain pioneer workshop held in June, we decided to host a 2nd one this past weekend (Aug. 11). At DECENT we are committed to making sure our tools are fast and easy to use. Workshops like these are perfect for learning about how real users interact with our ecosystem and the best practices for building decentralized apps on DCore.

Telegram Q&A Topics Contest
Finally, we want to announce that we’ll be hosting our first ever Q&A session on Telegram this fall. We’re looking for help from the community for 3 topics that we will be discussing during this Q&A! If you have any questions about our team or the development of DECENT, reach out to us on Twitter.
